
Infinite Jump - The Platformer
This game is not designed to run on your device. Add it to a collection to play later, or you can try to run it anyway.
As an entry for the Trijam #251: The 3 hour game jam. The game is developed in 3 hours.
Goal: collect all coins.
Controls:
- Move: W/S
- Increase/decrease jump force: Q/E
- Jump: SPACE
- Zoom camera: mouse wheel scroll
The theme "remove limits" is implemented by removing the maximum jump force. So the player has full control about jumping.
I had lots of ideas left but unfortunately had no time left. So the game only has some basic gameplay and I didn't have time for playtesting and fixing bugs. The most important part: I had a lot of fun creating it. Funny how I underestimated the needed time.
Some ideas that I wanted to implement:
- Enemies
- High score system
- Moving traps
- Moving platforms
- Audio (more SFX and background music)
- More levels
- Custom font
- Main menu
- Better win/lose screen
